This is long overdue, but I can thank my Wife, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, John Eaves, Marc Bell and everyone else involved Trek for inspiring me to put Pencil and Pen to paper again…
This is my old Pioneer Class starship, but finally re-designed, retrofitted i guess you could say. She was updated to fit in the Strange New Worlds design aesthetic. She has also been re-tasked – originally meant to be short-range exploration ship, she is now part of the new Starfleet Search and Rescue group. More on that in later posts.
this is just the initial sketch. Next up, have to draw her bigger and better and work out the hull details…and then I will try digital.
